CONGRATULATIONS to all our students who took part in the Rally competition that was held during the last two weeks of Term 1 2014, during lessons.
Depending on their age, students stand closer or further from the net and rally with their coaches for 5 minutes. Kindergarten – Year 2 had to hit 20 balls over the net to score points.

There are so many students that have made great progress. Even if they did not win with the highest score, their ability to rally is very much improved. WELL DONE!

For tennis in 2014, besides our usual weekly coaching sessions,
some of our programs and exciting events planned include:

  • Roseville Tennis Coaching Junior Championships – dates – August TBA
  • HOT SHOT Challenge events and TNSW Metro tournaments
  • Rally Competition – Term 1
  • Ladies social & coaching – Wednesday & Friday 9-11am
  • Friday night NSTA junior Competition – Maximum 12 teams competing
  • Junior doubles and singles Squads
  • School Holiday Programs
  • Tournament Team Events
  • Tennis party
  • Free time tennis Term 2 and 3.
  • Ladies FIT TENNIS – Monday’s 9:15-10:15am fitness
    class based around tennis drilling and exercise. No tennis
    experience needed. (inquiries welcome)

A new concept, the ‘Tournament Team’ has been introduced to help encourage students to enter Tennis NSW tournaments
and compete at a higher level.

Roseville Tennis has now started NEW junior squad training sessions to give students extra tennis and
help prepare/improve their standard for tournament play.
